I believe this is the company’s ethos practised through their honest dealings, commitment to quality and great attention to detail. I had recently experienced this first-hand when I engaged them to knock down an old fibro house and build a 4-bedroom house with a 2-bedroom attached granny flat in Casula.

I have been very fortunate to come across them, particularly at a low point in this whole exercise where I was confronted with several challenges, the major one being the termination of my contract with the original builder who kept on increasing the tender price in the name of ‘Currency of Tender’ while I was sorting out a construction loan with the bank. The other main challenge was that I was based overseas for work reasons and couldn’t travel to Australia, mainly due to COVID restrictions.

However, I commend Veritas Quality for their transparent and honest procedures, systems in place, in-house team, and field personnel as they successfully delivered the project to the intended quality. All the communication and approval challenges were promptly dealt with by emails, WhatsApp chat and calls. In addition, I selected finishes, fixtures, and fittings through pdf and picture mark-ups in close coordination with them. The results are picture-perfect; I believe they have done an astonishing task considering the various challenges that the project had, including COVID.

I wholeheartedly recommend Veritas Quality Construction for any worthwhile building task that interests them. Personally, I would love them to build another property for me should the opportunity arises in the future.

We built a granny flat with Veritas in 2017-18. I knew the owner of the company in a personal capacity for a long time before this project. He is a honest & trustworthy man with high ethical values. They are flexible and do project as well as custom granny flat building. Our arrangement was based on fairness. We found them unique in building industry, as they were honest, trustworthy and helpful. They were willing to do things and can customize according to your taste. They are open & fair people and not one who will run away after finishing your project.

We engaged Veritas to design and build an extension of our family home. In total it was over 100 sqm of extension work. Overall, I’m pleased with the work that Veritas did for design, architecture and build internally and on the roof.

We engaged Veritas Quality in late 2018 for the construction of a 2 bedroom granny flat on our property. It was a challenging project due to the shape of our lot and we were advised by other developers that a Granny Flat construction on our land was not possible. Veritas prepared an excellent design for the Granny Flat that suited the shape of our land. They executed the project using their problem solving expertise and without compromising on our requirements. The project was completed within budget and on time and with personal input and supervision of the Director Navid throughout the process. The quality of construction and materials used was of high standards and the tradesmen that came on to the property were thorough, completing the project in less than 4 months. He prioritised our requirements and addressed any concerns that we had throughout the execution of the project. My experience with Veritas has been a pleasant one. Although building 2 Double Storey houses in 6-8 months does result in some healthy conflict, Navid and his team’s respectful manner to resolve the issues to the benefit of all parties involved is commendable. Further, Navid’s extensive experience of building new homes allows him the resources to plan an effective build, and his key eye for detail ensures that every home he builds is curated around the customer’s needs and desires, and not just a stock standard template like other builders. Our build was managed in the best way possible. Saad gave us a call every week with an update of what had been done and what was happening next. Any issues we had pre, post or during the build were handled very professionally by Veritas team.

Veritas Quality took the construction of my Granny flat. Right from the start – from getting the permission from the Hills Shire Council, Geotech Survey, they started the construction. They had a dedicated team of workers, diggers, tilers, painters, electrician etc. Every morning they would come and start the work. A manager from Veritas visited the site 3 time a day to monitor the site. In the morning, afternoon and evening, to ensure that the work was progressing correctly and there was no shortage of materials. They worked Monday to Saturday. The whole project was completed on time including the completion certificate.

Their quote was spot on and there was no increase in price.
